I am!! :D
They’re not going to be playing anywhere near enough to me this time! :(
Will you be seeing them? :)
The Daughter’s Portrait (detail) - Louise Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun.
I couldn’t name any specific sellers, but as long as you check the feedback beforehand it tends to be fine if that’s positive. I usually stick to private sellers and uk based vintage stores personally though. Overseas stores tend to take a lot longer to arrive which always makes me worry it won’t arrive and the stores that stock that kind of ubiquitous wholesale item on buy it nows isn’t usually worth it because you’d get better quality cheaper by avoiding them.
How come you’re scared! It’s the greatest thing on the internet!
Actually buying them is quite simple if that’s the part you’re scared of. You just need a paypal and eBay account and then just find the thing you want and either entire the maximum you’d pay for it and leave it until it finishes and eBay will do the bidding for you, or if you want an adrenaline rush wait until the last minute to do your bidding. The first is easier but the second often gets you stuff cheaper but runs more of a risk of losing the item.
If you’re scared of scams then do not be! If you pay attention to the feedback the seller has and what people have said about them and you check the descriptions fully and ask any questions you need you’re usually safe. I’ve only had one mishap where a coat I won never arrived after taking an unusually long time to post in the first place but the good thing is if you’re a buyer then you’re protected by eBay and if you put in a claim within 45 days if something like that happens you get your money back!
I think it’s hard to make them look accidental unless you look apologetic about them. Cut them as short as you like and wear them proudly and people will know you wanted it that length.
